I actually got this for for keeping my bread dough warm while it was rising. Not really the intended use. But it works great with a towel over the bowl with the bread dough in it. The first one I received did not heat properly. But thanks to Amazon a replacement was sent promptly, and works fine. It definitely reaches 99 plus degrees. I have confirmed it with my laser heat checker. Not so sure about 144 degrees. But I only need 80 degrees, so not an issue. Some people have issues with the pad being rolled up and not unrolling, but that has not been a problem for me. I think the controller is actually pretty nice. It all looks like it should work at least for a while. I don't even use the silicon sheet they provide. It just takes that much longer to heat up. The entire heating element is encased in plastic, so I really don't see any issue NOT using the silicon. The pad they include for using UNDERNEATH is handy. Helps keep it from losing heat to a cold counter or table top. It's so straight forward and simply, I really hope it lasts.

It works ok as long as I don't use the timer. When I plug it into the timer it will not work at all. I guess it's a faulty timer cord. It's not as big as I had expected but it will work for smaller jobs. I'll just have to get more if I want to do more at one time.

It says on this mat not to bend it but it was all bent up in the box so I am waiting for it to stay flat again so I can use it.

So, I go Ilike that this Heat pad fits larges resin mold I have. tried it out and it took about 14min to get warm enough to feel which was not much I could hear it as it heated up (like electricity surging) not sure if that is a good thing or even if its normal. It is easy to operate and will be fun to see how much time it truly saves me when I implement into daily use. It isn't the greatest set up but should help as intended.
