The kit came quickly with almost everything included. Pros: Comes with both types of hooks so you can find what works for you. Great organization in the pouch. Comes with pretty much everything you need. Cons: I was missing the metal needles and the scissors aren’t good for cutting, they just fray the yarn. Overall, I would still recommend the kit to anyone starting crochet. I feel confident learning this new hobby using this set. Also is great value since just 6 hooks were $12 at my local craft store!

My daughter started crocheting less than a year now and she absolutely loves the different size needles in this package. It's great to take anywhere as the case has all she needs.

So far, I love this hook. I've owned others similar to it that I also use all the time. They don't count stitches, and they have plastic hooks instead of metal, but they are very nice for travel and having all your hook sizes available. I've seen reviews on the others as well about the hooks not staying in the body. But from my experience that is only if they are not being fastened correctly. They give you the little tool to turn them with for a reason. When using that I have no problems getting them right into place and they stay. This one is the same. It can be slippery if you don't use the tool to fasten them because of the metal, so I highly recommend using the tool to fix this if you notice the same problem.

I love these needles. Wish I would have thought of it. All so neatly organized in one spot. I have arthritis and crochet because of it. I find these very easy to hold and work with. As for counting stitches, I’ve been working on something that I don’t need to count stitches so I haven’t tried that feature. The light is an added bonus. If you crochet, these are really great to have.

This is a gift for a grand daughter so it hasn’t been opened yet, but it looks like it’s pretty well stocked for a beginner.

I was a little disappointed, there weren't really any good instructions on how to set it up.

The crochet hook tips are metal and the finishing seems a little draggy initially. After putting some powder over the hook tips and wiping the powder off, the hooks are quite smooth when crocheting. The size of the handle is more suitable for crocheters who uses knife hold.
