I like to paint with watercolors, but it is hard to trace and get a nice pencil drawing though the thick paper that I use. This light works great through the cold pressed 140lb paper that I use for my watercolor paints. The back of the lightbox props up and gives a nice angle to sketch and the clip holds my paper in place. The light box is rechargeable, so I don’t need to sit by an outlet or mess with a wire while I am using it. The lightbox works nicely and perfect for my art projects.

One of my granddaughters has used and recommended this item. Her mother is also involved in crafts and I believe will enjoy using this when she comes to visit. My observation is that it seems very well constructed and the LED light is more than adequate for tracing.

Very pleased with this light pad. The power switch is placed where it is not easily bumped. The power has a dimmable function that allows you to control the brightness which can be very important when working on complex pieces. The clip holds the work firmly and the outside edges of the unit are smoothly rounded. The edges are important when you are going to be moving the pad about. This one feels comfortable to hold in all angles.
