Prismacolor Premier Pencil Sharpener

Mine says it needs AAA batteries which clearly don’t fit. It should say AA.

This is a great little sharpener for colored pencils, it works great for all my pencils, from artist quality to cheap ones. The only problem is the coil that holds the batteries in place are not strong enough, so as soon as you pick it up or move it the batteries fall out of place. After swapping the sharpener for a second one, I realized they are all made this way, so I cut a couple of pieces of cardstock to fit between the top of the batteries and the compartment lid to keep thm from moving around, and that fixed the problem.

Purchased to use with my colored pencils. 1st issue: Instructions say "use AA batteries", but as you can see by my photo, the sharpener clearly states AAA. 2nd issue: ABSOLUTELY NO POWER. the minute it starts to turn it stops. Colored pencils are softer than a regular pencil. Spend a few extra bucks and get better quality.

So far so good. Normal pencils accommodated with no problem unlike other cheap crap. Sharpens very well.

Very powerful sharpener it sharpens the pencil right to a point.

Works amazing and I love it for my colored pencils but i had some issues at first figuring out which hole to use. Once I figured it out I haven’t had any problems.

This is a game changer!
