I purchased this for my 92 year old mother. The design flaw is for all sharpeners not just this one. You need to hold the pencil tightly while it is sharpening. She doesn’t have enough strength to keep it from moving as the pencil is being sharpened. Otherwise if I do it for her it is a great sharpener. Not one pencil led broke while being sharpened and I sharpened a lot of pencils. I love it!!

4 months of use in a homeschool household, and thus far it's worked flawlessly. Regular #2 pencils, fat pencils, pencils with plastic decorative decals, colored pencils, it has sharpened everything and always auto-stopped when it's sharp. Could be a little messy to empty if not done regularly, but I just hold it over the trash can to open up and not a big deal. Would 100% recommend.

This is great solid built sharpener. I got this as I didn’t want my boys to kill the pencil with every sharpening as it auto stop but for me I push it in alittle and it stop there too. I do use pencil on wood/home projects and I hate hand pencil sharpener as I get it broken, or slanted which break shortly. So it save pencil with a super pointy tip

Very easy to use, very efficient. Good sharp point. Works even on the cheap holiday pencils with plastic labels that the kids get at school.

What I love about this pencil sharpener is you get the perfect tip EVERYTIME. I used to razor / sand my pencils but this took forever. This sharpener has saved me hours of time! My only regret is I wish I bought this sooner!!
