My heels were so dry that they were splitting and cracking. For a diabetic, that is very dangerous. I have been applying a heavy duty foot cream, and I use these socks to keep the cream saturating my feet at night while I sleep. I’ve even been wearing them throughout the day, continuing to massage and cream frequently throughout the day. My cracked heels are finally healing. These are worth their weight in gold.
I feel like the name "moisturizing heel socks" is misleading. There's nothing in it to moisturize. You see "cracked heel relief" and when you open it, and then turn the sock inside out and it looks like the inside of my wonderbra. It's just silicone. Nothing in it that will help with anything. You have to buy lotion, or actual meds for cracked heels and then you wear this on top. It does work with meds as the silicone reacts with the heat of your foot to open up pores to push the lotion in more. Would I buy it again? Yes, now that I know what to expect, but I wouldn't pay full price for something like this again
