My grandson absolutely loves this thing, bought it for his birthday in November and it’s still going strong which is amazing as that boy could destroy an anvil. Very pleased and he has asked for another one!
I did a LOT of research and decided to purchase the 1:10 Legend for my 9 year old son. He loves it. I thought it would be too big but it is the perfect size. The RC is fast, powerful, has solid weight and with the ability to use 2 batteries at once we get more run time. The (2) 1600mah batteries last a longer than 30 minutes since he doesn't go full throttle all the time. This truck does go very fast but is really easy to use. The batteries take 2 hours or more to charge but you get 2 chargers so it's ideal to be able to charge both batteries at once. So far my only complaint is the front and rear bumpers are made of thin plastic and break very easily. The front bumper broke the first time playing with the truck and the replacement parts are not cheap. Now my son is afraid to play with it with the bumper broken. I think if the bumper was made in such a way that they were supported from behind instead of being attached at the bottom that would be a big improvement. Maybe if they were made of rubber coated metal or hard rubber that would be ideal since this is where the impact happens. See included image of bumper broken in two places where it attaches to the chassis. Other than that great RC! I actually got the 1:16 Sonic brushless model for myself (hey, my kid needs to play with someone, right? lol) but the 1:16 is a little small and it flips over easily. I wish I had gotten the 1:10 Legend for myself too.

Bought three of these cars to drive around our pond and in our driveway. We have a pond on our property and it has been overwhelmed with geese who have destroyed the lawn and are creating unsanitary messes everywhere. Our children and pets can not go near there as a result. At the suggestion of a neighbor who has the same problem at his pond we purchased the cars to humanely deter the geese. The cars are not liked by the geese and we can chase them the comfort of our home. They have worked wonderfully and we are now have a goose free yard. The kids are enjoying the cars on our driveway and are learning how to do tricks with them. The cars can climb just about any obstacle and have not shwn any signs of breakage.
