This is my first real hobby RC car. It's super easy to pull it out of the box and just get it started and have some fun. Comes with two batteries. And I would say I get maybe 20 minutes per battery driving it in the higher speed. This one has two speeds, slow and normal. Slow is definitely where you want to start, when you put it in normal. This thing has power and when you try to steer you just do burnouts. This is so much fun and because it's considered an entry level hobby RC truck. If anything breaks you can buy replacements or you could even upgrade the truck if you would like! I've only had it for a couple days but I have been abusing it flying off road at high speed and I've had some gnarly crashes and it seems pretty sturdy. This is a no-brainer if you are interested in getting a nice RC car to have some fun with you. Can't go wrong with this one especially for the price.

This truck is so much fun! I bought it for my 9-year-old nephew and now I want one for myself. I figured, correctly, that the speed would be a bit hard for him, as a beginner, to handle. I made sure that he used it in a big, open area where he couldn’t crash into anything until he got the hang of it. It didn’t take long for him to get a feel for it. While this isn’t really classified as a child’s toy, it can be used by older children with a little care and practice. That being said, he’s run the truck over curbs, through dirt and grass, over uneven, rocky terrain, you name it. This truck can handle whatever we throw at it. It’s crazy fast, incredibly stable, and a blast to drive! There was one incident where the steering stopped responding but somehow it corrected itself. I wasn’t with him at the time but from what he and his dad described it sounds like there was perhaps a communication error between the car and the remote. Whatever the problem was, nothing was broken and the car worked perfectly again the next day. It’s been about two weeks and aside from dirt and a few scratches, the truck works just as well as the day it arrived. I don’t have anything to compare this to but I would highly recommend this truck for anyone except maybe inexperienced kids younger than about 8 or so. And for kids it’s probably best to keep the speed on the low setting. Still plenty fast!

Got this for my 11 yr old nephew who loves RC planes. He is able to fly and really likes the battery life. Only downside is the material plane is made off. Broke during a crash and had to be glued. Contacted company and they promptly sent a new propeller. He continues to fly and practice maneuvers.
