This weld helmet is fantastic. It is adjustable in and out and for head size. It’s a little tight out of the box, as if the sides were pressed inward. This is a little uncomfortable for about an hour until the plastic stretches out. The adjustments on the outside are nice but you should be careful not to bump them while crawling in tight spots. I have NOT had an issue with this, it was just a concern. The auto darkening also works fantastically and the field of view is the largest for this price point. Excellent beginner hood and I imagine for an advanced welder too. It isn’t marked low profile but it definitely feels like it is. My advice to the company that would make me give it 5 stars. Have a click adjustment knob so when you turn then you can feel the detent catch. Instead of the smooth adjustment it has now. Second, figure out how to get the hood to not react to work lights. I had some issues when using a work light in tight dark spaces. The hood would darken when it saw the lights. If the light was over head it would be fine but if the light was looking up or laterally placed on the work surface it would activate the hood. My guess is because leds flickers at a extreme rate it activated the hood. Almost like the reactiveness of the hood is too good.
