pros over gen 1: louder; ear muffs actually insulate sound so your teammates can’t hear music/audio playing from your headphones (also makes bass sound better/deeper); uses usb-c instead of micro usb; battery life is better; the little plastic pieces don’t break anymore near where the ear cups swivel cons: uses beeps instead of voice for power up, power off, eq (really disliked this over gen 1); doesn’t give you a 10min warning when it is about to shutoff due to power-saving feature, just shuts off; randomly powers off even with audio playing; and my last and only real major complaint—the signal range is AWFUL. the gen 1s had very impressive range and i could walk out of my room still talking, but now if i just turn around while 3 feet from the adapter, it’ll start annoyingly cutting out >:( overall vs gen 1s: there are some major upsides (battery life, volume, insulation) but there are also an equal amount of downsides (randomly shutting off, horrible range) so in my opinion, this isn’t an upgrade, more of like a “facelift” with it’s own new problems.

Got these for PC gaming mainly but as a plus they also work with my PS4 (sadly no Xbox support). Pretty good sound overall but can be heavy on the bass which seems to be quite common with a lot of headsets these days. I think a lot of that comes down to the end user, I just prefer a bit more treble and highs that are a bit more crisp. Battery life has been excellent, have about ten hours on fully charged battery so I am happy with that (rated for up to 24 hours between charges). This headset also incorporates RGB around the outside of the ear and I like that I can change colors or just turn them off if I want more battery life. Ear pieces are very soft and have a fair amount of cushion for a very comfortable fit. Overall a solid headset and an excellent alternative to some of the more mainstream headsets on the market.

To start off, the headset is very comfortable and is adjustable if needed. The ear cups are cushioned and is great for long gaming/movie sessions. I used them for work and after eight hours, used them to play a few hours of gaming. I had to remove the headset every now and then because of the pressure it put on my head and started to get uncomfortable. The headset has RGB that looks nice, even though you wouldn't be seeing it yourself while you're using them, but something to show off. The headset charges using a USB-C cable. The sound quality isn't too loud and has good bass while listening to music. Testing them with multiple genres of music, it has the right amount of pop to them. I'm not an expert at sounds quality, but for a normal individual for everyday use, these headphones are a good choice. I wouldn't say they are in the same category as high-end headphones. The mic is okay. I used multiple gaming headsets over the years and there are better mics out there, but when I was gaming with my friends, they were able to hear me in comparison to my other two pair of headphones, which they state are clearer. The mic is retractable and easy to turn on/off with the push of a button. I would also like to add that I used them with my Steam Deck, and it worked perfectly fine. I will continue to use these headphones and update my review if I notice any issues over the time that I use them for both my gaming computer and Steam Deck.
