I got to play with the RC car. It was fine it was fast. I use it three or four times. And put it away when I moved, about 6 months later I found it, tried to change it and the batteries stay dead. (Blinking red light) I left them 24 hours to charge and nothing. I ended up buying 2 more batteries at $11 each so that wasn’t so bad but for the price I paid, I expected better quality.

I bought this for my son's 11th birthday. He's had two other fairly simple RC cars and was ready for something much more serious. As usual, I wanted to balance value and fun. Laegendary's 1:10 scale car has been perfect. It was so fast that crashes were frequent at first. Fortunately, the car is very sturdy and has two speeds. Within a day or two, he was much better and started taking jumps at full speed and doing tricks. The car has really has held up well under constant use for over a month and shows no signs of slowing down. It takes some time to change batteries (the only reason my son could think of for taking one star away from the rating). It does help to have an air compressor handy when running through very dusty ground, which we have plenty of here in the desert. Finally, and this was very important to me, any replacement parts are easily obtained from Amazon, but I don't anticipate that anytime soon.
