Everything work as described except for the color view. While it is much better than the monochrome of my other helmets I would not call it a color display by any stretch of the imagination. The first time I wore it if feels very heavy in the front. I wore it about 3 hours and was afraid I would not be able to use it the next day. The next day I put it on and never noticed that it even felt heavy in the front again. Third it is difficult to change your modes. You have to lift the first and second shield at the same time but just a little because the buttons disappear if you go up more than a little and snake your finger in and press the buttons. Hard to do with welding gloves on and I usually have to take them off. Other than that I love it and for $150 am going to buy another one for home because I get tired of taking it home and then to work.

Comfortable headgear. The true color lense darkens fast and the periferial vision is a great feature. Reasonably lightweight. Overall very happy with the purchase.

If you can't see out of this helmet, you should not be wielding. The quality of this device is superior. it needs no batteries and you can grind with the helmet.
