I will preface this by saying this is for a novice. We got one for our 10 year old son for Christmas and he and I had so much fun with it that I bought a second. I love that it has slow mode that we can use in the house and then a fast mode that is better outdoors.

This is an amazing truck omg the power and durability. Battery not great but not bad about 12 minutes a battery unless you use both at once which is about 20 to 25 minutes. Suspension is great the motor is powerful but has a brass gear (soft metal ). The main driveshaft has a plastic gear that’s driven by the gear on the motor and they both wear you have to replace both in pairs when it gets worn out. I advise upgrading to a metal gear on the driveshaft. This has to be the best most durable and powerful 1/16 scale truck out there. I’m not sure about my opinion but this truck will not disappoint pretty sure bout that.
I bought the Triton originally a month or 2 ago thinking that it was going to be good but also did not realize how small a 1:20 scale is and really got tired of having to chase the car around as every time it went over a bump it always fell over. So I saw this one and thought well i have a budget and its a 1:10 scale so its bigger and should be able to handle turns and bumps like my other friends. This thing is a basher! I had not cut the grass yet and when it hit the grass which was about 8 or 10 inches taller than the car it just went thru like a hot butter knife. This is what i was looking for and expected! The Triton will probably just sit since the batteries i found also work on this car just don't run as long but 2x the fun.
