My son really likes this car as it’s so nifty in it’s ability to go sideways! It is really small, however, and that disappointed him a bit but other than that, he really likes it.
I tried this RC out around my property before gifting it to my 8 year old nephew for his bday. It zoomed down my crushed stone driveway, ripped 360s easily, climbed some smaller stones, and held together after flying off my retaining wall. It did however struggle going through some of the higher grass in my field since it simply didn't have enough weight to seat on the ground for traction. It's plastic build/suspension is what it is for the money, however nothing broke or seemed to come loose. Another positive to note is the low speed mode which is still a good speed to have fun and makes for less effort in turning control. I found low speed highly beneficial for my nephew while he is still grasping the control.
UPDATE: I hooked up both batteries for a quick run, it hit 19.3 with both connected, I know with the dean connection that they include it’s not supposed to make it faster, just a longer run time, but it did pick up almost 2 mph for what it’s worth. I’ve ordered a couple different batteries, I’m going to try with the truck. It’s pretty quick, easy to control.. I put my iPhone 11 Max Pro on the truck to see how fast it is, I was able to hit 17.4 mph with a fully charged battery. I’ve only ran it the one time and a few laps back and forth. Seems like a good truck, I’ll update this later when I use it a little more.
