I would rate this as 4.5 Stars overall. I use this light for night running and usually keep it on the second lowest setting. I bump it to the third setting when I need more light and the fourth setting when I want to light up the area as if it is daytime. The only drawback is that it is a bit heavy so it has to be a bit tight on the head to avoid the light from bouncing. It can be uncomfortable for longer runs.
