After years of hearing how these squatty potties are good for us I finally caved in and bought it. The bamboo one is esthetically pleasing. Assembly was suuuper easy. I'm not entirely sure if it actually helps like they say it's suppose to but it sure is comfy putting my feet on top of it while I sit on the toilet.
Used only to ease defecation and works perfectly. I am a 5'10" male, slim and find it most comfortable. It is good looking in the teak, easily transported but exceptionally sturdy and well made. Does not slide at all. Good value at the price and would highly recommend. One Caution: Although it tucks in closely to the toilet base itself and is perfect in width, you cannot leave it in place without assuming a wide stance when urinating, otherwise you cannot get comfortably close to the toilet. This is not a flaw, but does necessitate storing it on the side after use (it can be done without folding, either vertically as I do or horizontally.
What the title says. I haven't strained in many a moon. I will say the assembly is a little annoying b/c it requires those weird hexagonal screws that Ikea uses, but it wasn't too bad. Took about 10 minutes and has since saved me many more.
I love the folding model for our guest bathroom. We tuck it away and let guests know where it is if they want it. It is so sturdy. I absolutely recommend this to all of my friends. I own the original, the teak and now this oslo folding model.
