Bought this for my 5 year old son. Our whole family loved taking turns flying this plane. Took a little practice to learn, but it’s very durable and has handled our learning well. Thinking about getting a second one for his twin sister.
This fighter may look like an aircraft, but flies and acts like a drone. It hovers, does tricks, and lands/takes off vertically. It comes with 2 batteries, which is great because each one only lasts about 10 minutes. They charge via USB C, which is a huge plus, as many smaller electronics still use the old Micro USB standard. The controller takes 2 AAA batteries and works in one hand. There is a bit of a learning curve for sure, and it takes a bit to setup and get used to. It comes with extra blades, which a plus, even though they are pretty protected within the fighter frame. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a cost effective drone that is a little different. While it is in the shape of a fighter jet, it is important to note that it behaves like a drone, and not a plane.

It is super tiny, be patient with setting up and operation. It would be nice if it could tilt left and right and flying time would last longer after charging. 5 minutes flying time is just not long enough lol
