I will preface this by saying this is for a novice. We got one for our 10 year old son for Christmas and he and I had so much fun with it that I bought a second. I love that it has slow mode that we can use in the house and then a fast mode that is better outdoors. My experience with RC cars in the past was with the crappy ones my parents bought for the kids through the years at stores like Target or Walmart. I hated those things. I did have experience with building quadcopters, so I liked that this has a waterproof ESC and had a standard battery connector so it was easy to buy a new battery. I also like that it mimics the more legit RC car controllers with the trigger and the little wheel, though these are obviously much more limited. These are a ton of fun and, though the covers are beaten up, they are holding together after being flipped and crashed and jumped off ramps a bunch of times. I think I had to pop one of the lights back in, but that's about it.

I bought 2 Laegendary RC cars at first, one for me and one for my youngest daughter (the older one wasnt intersted). Right away, we all found out how much fun it is to race up and down the street in front of our house. The cars are easy to control in Low Speed, and can be almost uncontrollable in High Speed. The fact that the cars have two speeds is a big plus. Shortly after we got the first two cars, my older daughter decided she needed one too and since they are so affordable, I picked up another one. So now we have a fleet of them. We just started using the dual-battery setup which gives you an hour or more of runtime depending on how you drive. The motors never overheat nor do the batteries. They do get warm but never to the point you cant touch them. The same is true for charging. I charge them in an aluminum pan that is used for heating food so if they did ever decide to overheat, nothing would burn. We have had some hard crashes and broken parts, but that was not a big deal as the parts are readily available on Amazon and (before the virus outbreak) delivered in a day or two. These cars may be priced like toys, but they are well engineered, easily repairable machines. We have only broken bumpers, headlights, and suspension parts. All were easily fixed. The support from Laegendary has been amazing as well. After every purchase, you get a personalized email from the company and they will respond quickly if you have questions. I would definitely recommend these cars to anyone wanting to get into RC without spending hundreds or thousands of dollars. They are not as fast as some of the other brands, but unless you have wide open spaces to run them, getting a 50MPH car might be overkill.

This car is amazing its fast and can bounce around really nice has great suspension;) it is a great toy for the money no complaints here
