I’ve bought multiple RC cars ranging from $20 to $500 and this one is by far the best RC car yet. It’s been able to handle rough riding. Muddy terrain, water and massive jumps off ramps. I will definitely be buying more. In fact half the neighborhood bought one after seeing my son drive his around. I would say this is for a more “experienced” operator but it’s so well built it can also handle a newbie. It’s fast though so if you are new to the RC world, drive it with caution
First, the car is fun, long battery, great range and able to handle grass and light snow like a champ. The one problem we have had with it is, if you have the vehicle at a dead stop, then pull the throttle (trigger) all the way back to accelerate as fast as possible, sometimes the vehicle goes into reverse instead of forward. When this happens it just keeps going no matter what you do with the throttle and the only way to stop the vehicle is to turn off the remote. This is not a one-time incident with just my kids etc. This happens almost anytime someone tries to give the throttle 100% from a dead stop. This doesn't happen if you accelerate more slowly.
