I had a Sonicare toothbrush about 10 years ago, which I really liked however the battery would not recharge after about 4 years and it's not replaceable. So about 6 years ago, I bought an Oral-B through my dentist office and have used it until this purchase. On the good side, the Oral-B battery has lasted 6 years however it's not really more than a vibrating toothbrush. I missed my Sonicare ultrasonic which I feel provides better cleaning, allow the brush to do the work. If memory serves, Oral-B claims recommended by more dentist but they probably pay some dentist association money for this claim.
No need for the more expensive models -this one is fine. I immediately turned off the pressure sensor (which I found just annoying) but kept the quad pacer. If you have never used an electric tooth brush then do keep things as is. I like the light weight and power and could not wait to write about this but if the brush is really bad, I will update my review
I love this toothbrush. I am an old school regular toothbrush user but decided to make the change because I had noticed some yellowing. It really works well and I have had this for a few months and have only had to charge it twice. I do wish that it came with some sort of travel case but other than that its great.
Purchased at the suggestion of my dental hygienist for better cleaning in hard to reach places. It is easy to use but takes some time getting used to it. The charge appears to last a long time. I have had excellent experience but will not really know until next dental appointment. Satisfied with the price/value and the next day delivery by Amazon.
