I bought this product years back and have used it without any issues. I never clean shave, always using the 1mm or 3mm guard on my face and cleaning up my neck. This product charges quick, the battery life is always longer than I expect, and it does a good job to get a close shave as far as electric groomers go. It comes with a lot of guards and attachments, some of which I never use, but if you're one of those beard enthusiasts, it's a good product to look into.
Yes, technically, it's not a razor, so it's not actually shaving my head. But I've been using this specific clipper to shave my head for about 8 years now, and it's fantastic. The battery life is insane - I charge it maybe once a quarter, if even that much. I have actually never had it die on me while shaving, and I shave my head and face with this (no guard) every other week, maybe once every three weeks if I'm lazy. The only reason I ever replace them is because the blades get dull from cutting so much hair. That said, I still only buy a new one every couple of years, so it's not like the blades immediately crap out.
Ordered this when forgot my Braun in a winter rental in Florida. First time I have had one that isn't a Braun in 10 years. So far it works very well. Still haven't figured out exactly which comb to use to keep my beard at it's desired length, but I like the choices better than the Braun which gave me "too short" and "too long" so I used the "too short" and learned to live with it. It appears this one will give me "just right" although I need to get over being accustomed to living with "too short." I also like the "no need to oil the cutterhead" feature.
