What a great purchase! This thing is quicker than a tarpon pounding mullet, but has a "slow" speed akin to my wife wandering through Target, which I used for my son until he magically found the switch to make it run like a scalded cat. He blew through the stock servo within a day or two - I guess repeatedly ramming it full speed into mailbox posts and parked cars wasn't part of its testing and development. Hint, hint - go ahead and buy a replacement servo with metal gears at the same time you buy this truck - costs about two 4-packs of tallboy PBR's; had it in two days, only took a few sips of a tallboy to change it out and he was up and running it into mailbox posts again. This truck is true 4x4, unlike that friend we all had in high school who put "4x4" stickers on his 4-banger Ranger...it zips right through my neighbor's beautifully-thick Floritam front yard, makes quick work my other neighbor's pristine flower beds and does donuts around moms pushing strollers. My son started a side gig renting it out to kids in the neighborhood; so far he's up to about 29 cents - he's still grasping the concept of money; don't make fun of him, he's only 16 (yes, we have community college fund set up for him, thanks for asking). As for battery life, my wife says it lasts longer than my attention span...for what that's worth (thanks, babe). It came with 2 batteries, and I try keep both charged and ready to roll because my son's attention span is apparently far superior to mine. I can say that when the battery dies, it dies...I've had to walk to retrieve it more than a few times. That reminds me, range...I'd say it can go about 5 houses or so down the road. On the upside, I've lost some weight, so you have that to look forward to. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is the receiver; it feels a bit cheap - not cheap uncle cheap, but cheap plastic crap cheap. Don't get me wrong, it does what it's supposed to - starts, stops, reverses and turns the truck - but it's very light in the hand and would probably shatter if it's dropped on the pavement. Admittedly, I'm shocked my son hasn't completely destroyed it yet, but give him time...he'll get there. All in all, I'm mildly impressed with the quality of this truck. For under a hundy you're getting a great intro in the hobby-grade (or so) R/C world - and it's true 4x4 (take that Brantley, you liar). Tires, suspension, servo (especially the servo), heck even the body appear to be replaceable and parts seem to be readily available (did I mention the servo?). It came with 4 extra body clips, a multi-function wrench thingy that I'm sure does something but not yet sure what (I'm sure my son will put it to the test at some point), also came with USB charger that you can plug into your computer or older android phone charger.
Delivered with in 24hrs, flown around living room after binding and trimming in. As good as described and will make the ideal garden flyer as it is only 118g flying weight and this under the new rules is perfect.

The power of this thing is amazing! I come from flying 60-90 size nitro helis from years ago. I was reluctant to try a lipo powered heli, but this little bird opened up a whole new world for me. I was also able to pair this heli with my Radiomaster TX16s using the OMP built-in receiver. You won't go wrong with this one!!
