We purchased this as a replacement for a unit that was SUPPOSED to have corrosion resistant parts. It did not--constantly had us unsticking it & it finally froze. THIS produce has been AWESOME. We've had it now for about 6 months and it is working perfectly. There is a 'knock-out' piece for the dish-washer drain--make sure you fish that out of the unit. (I did not, and it was very noisy until i figured that out) It was relatively easy to install (if you are good at sink plumbing, you'll be fine putting it in yourself). It has a 'twist-on' collar that you mate to the sink, then the unit itself simply locks in with a 1/4 turn. The unit itself is fairly quiet during operation, is much smaller than our old unit, and makes short work of everything we put down it. It was so easy going in/coming out, I took it out to get last week for extra space when I was installing a new faucet. This is a great value--especially given the price.
Very good water heater
It's everything I've come to expect from Moen... a great disposal at a very competitive price. With a couple exceptions, installation was a breeze. The hardest part was putting on the retainer ring - it had way too much tension and I nearly gave up. It's not what I'd call "quiet", but I didn't buy it expecting it to be. It's got about a 1,000 r.p.m. more than most other disposals which should mean it will have to run less. ***If you plan on registering your unit get the required info from the bottom BEFORE YOU INSTALL IT! (I wish I had.)

Scratch this review! Unit worked great until it didn't. After less than 2 years the tank failed and I had a flood. Bosch wouldn't even consider honouring its warranty because apparently I hadn't maintained the "anode rod" (it had disappeared). Though I wouldn't consider reinstalling another Bosch because I can't risk another flood. This tank is a piece of crap and so is Bosch. Stay away!! Easy, economical answer to a long-standing problem of delayed hot-water. Great product!
