Moen GX50C Prep Series 1/2 HP Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal with Sound Reduction, Power Cord Included, Black

We purchased this unit because we need hot water to the kitchen sink faster. It's an economical solution but requires both plumbing and electrical contractors which add costs.

I purchased this garbage disposal because the price was good and because it stated that it was quiet. I didn’t expect it to be quiet since it is a garbage disposal after all. I was pleasantly surprised when I installed it and heard the buzzing noise it makes while it is devouring waste. Once it’s empty it’s a little more noisy. The 3/4 HP motor destroys everything we throw at it (so far). It was relatively easy to install. It does not come with a switch, you’ll either have to install a switch to control the outlet or buy a switch made for garbage disposal.

This is the best for camping in a camper with no room inside for a shower. Got a small tent and set it up with this shower it is great

Well this review isn't fair as the auger had some damage from shipping. Tool shook and shimmied and screws fell out of the auto feeder which only worked if the snake remained untangled inside the drum. Had to feed and return snake by hand to get it to work while having to untangle it in the drum constantly. I'm not sure how much damage happened during shipping but the attached toolbox was mangled upon opening the package and fell off. So not a fair review.

I am in construction and know how to make things work but this was an easy install for me, great pump at a great price. It has been workig for me for weeks now with no problems. I purchased the float switch model, less chance of having problems, it is quiet and is working great. I would recommend it, and my neighbor has bought on as well.
