When our spring went dry, our cisterns eventually emptied and left us with no water. It is winter and we have received a lot of snow which we are melting for our daily needs. However, without some type of pressure water we can't shower. This shower is perfect. I use a small sump pump that picks up water from a 30-gallon container that has rainwater or faltered melted snow in it. It is hooked up to a 5-gallon propane tank. The auto igniter for the on-demand water inside the shower unit works flawlessly. From the time the heater comes on to hot water coming out of the shower head is less than 4 seconds. A decent military shower uses less than 5 gallons of water. This shower unit is temporarily mounted in our tub/shower unit. We highly recommend this unit
