04-04-2023American made. Full brass body and connectors. Found it to be very stable and accurate. Have tried Chinese copies and had mixed results. My advise, spend more up front and have sometime that will last and not give you trouble. Very satisfied.

05-04-2023It is hot before you touch the solder, and when you put it into its holder it starts cooling off to save you on tips. The tips are much smaller than I thought they might be but perfect for electronics repair.
