JONEALA RC Trucks 4x4 Offroad Waterproof. I thought this would be fun for the grandkids to play with when visiting. It comes fully assembled and ready to go right out of the box. It is a nice size, made of plastic, and has rubber wheels. It comes with 2 battery packs and a cable to charge the batteries. The cable has a USB-A plug, but you will need a power adapter to charge. The remote requires 2 AA batteries, not included. The charging cable plug does light up green when charging is completed. The battery cover uses a screw to hold it down and they do include a screwdriver for this purpose. I found the battery compartment to be a little tight so you just have to make sure that you stuff the connector in the side while also sliding in the battery. The battery must be removed to charge. The rubber vacuum wheels are large and provide cushion if you accidentally run into something. The truck is fast but only provides for one speed as there is no gradual variable speed option. You’re either stopped or going full speed. The steering is controlled by the motors not by turning the front wheels. This method is effective, just takes a little practice to get it right. It is all wheel drive which is great as I had no problem running this on carpet or thick grass. The control range is good and it does run for 15 minutes or more without issue. The description states it runs in water, but I have not tried this. Overall, a fun toy!

Most of the hobby models are $300+, and don't include batteries or a controller. This model is perfect for getting into RC cars. It was all the replacement parts you need in case you break something. For $160 you won't find a better set. Its definitely more durable than I expected it to be. I figured it would be easy to break at this price point. I was wrong. I crashed it several times my first time out with it. I crashed into a break wall at full speed and it just kept going. I banged it up pretty good and it never affected its performance. Its also pretty easy to control, my 2 year old was starting to get the hang of the controls after about 5 minutes. If you want to get into RC trucks this is 100% the best product to get. Its a lot of fun! My wife also enjoyed playing with it as well.
