I purchased this item because I do alot of heat welded floors for hospitals and was skeptical at 1st because the price was so low but I can tell you bv that its paid for itself multiple times I couldn't be happier with the product I would recommend it to anyone

Not as heavy duty as old one. But 300 cheaper. Persice heat control.

This is my first torch, but I've been welding for years. What you have to supply is a 20 cuft oxygen tank and a 10 cuft acetylene tank. Since I didn't have either, I had to buy new ones from my local welding supply. The cost was $99 for the large tank and $89 for the small one. The gas was another $60. I'm pointing out that this unit is less than half your total necessary expenditure, if you are new. The gauges are similar quality to my Hobart MIG welder. The hoses are nice quality too. I didn't realize at first that acetylene is LH threaded. Easier to assemble when you figure that out. I am concerned about the acetylene hole on the included wrench being a very loose fit on the acetylene valve (it's the little square hole - see photo). It's just not that precisely stamped and I suspect it will round over itself or the valve in short order. We shall see. Otherwise, great kit. I can always use a different wrench on the acetylene.
