If you read the instructions and learn the basics of this hood, it is a great hood for the money. I have the best lincoln makes 3350 and this one is as good for half the money. Also lighter. I recommend to anyone that wants a good hood, have mine 3 years and use everyday. Not as rugged as lincoln, but like the lightness with the halo shell
