04-04-2023If you read the instructions and learn the basics of this hood, it is a great hood for the money. I have the best lincoln makes 3350 and this one is as good for half the money. Also lighter. I recommend to anyone that wants a good hood, have mine 3 years and use everyday. Not as rugged as lincoln, but like the lightness with the halo shell

04-04-2023This product requires you to assemble/attach the shield onto the head support loop. However, the instruction does not have such assembly instruction on how to properly do it. I've managed to put them together, but I cannot flip the shield up & down easily. I am sure I didn't do it right. This is my very first time getting a brand new welding shield. So, a clear instruction is certainly important for 1st timers or beginners. Taking 1 star off for subpar instruction.
