I had super low expectations for these miracle strips. When my friend mention these as an alternative to Botox, I thought, “why not!” It would be fun to try. Not to mention how awesome it would be if they actually worked. I’m super surprised to say that I actually noticed a difference after just one night of using this product. The surface (visible wrinkle) is pretty much gone. I can still feel a crease when I push my finger on that area but it’s not as bad as it was before I used Frownies. I also noticed I’m more conscious of facial movements that will deepen those lines. It not like it feels tighter, it just feels more unnatural; like I can feel myself doing it now. I’m 32 years old, and I have a pretty expressive face that causes these little verticals lines in between my eyes. They aren’t terrible but I feel like with time, they will deepen and become more and more visible. Plus, I teach high school. If I can’t say it with my mouth, I tend to say it with my face. Use: I actually ripped the strip in half because I one wanted the little space between my eye brows and the strip would have it above my hairline (plus, I get more uses this way - winning). The adhesion was most impressive! I began use before bed and it was in place when I woke up (I move around a lot when I sleep). It did a red mark when I removed but this went away fairly quickly. I do not have sensitive skin. I’m curious to see what the long term effects with look like. I will update in a few weeks. Definitely worth the purchase for short term use at the very least.

I don't have any before and after photos yet as I'm still in the beginning stages of using my Frownies. I also don't have very deep lines yet (I'm 41 but avoid the sun like the plague). I'm mostly at the stage where my forehead tends to naturally scowl while sleeping and be tense in general. I squint my eyes a lot to block the sun too. So I'm just starting to get the 11's and some forehead lines. I've worn them for about a week so far. I did get some irritated skin at first (just a few tiny pimples), but I think that was my fault for not cleaning my face properly before applying the Frownies and I probably trapped some bacteria there. Because since I've been using a make up wipe before applying them, my skin has been very happy. Also when I messaged the company on instagram asking for advice about that, they responded the same day with great tips. So it's good to actually clean your face, not just wet it. ha..should have known better. They're kind fun to apply. They to take a minute but it's a nice relaxing routine before going to sleep. They feel really cool on, they get stiff but aren't uncomfortable for sleeping. My husband says I look like Wonder Woman. haha. I also notice that my head muscles are getting more relaxed in general and helps with facial tension/headaches...bonus!! Also, I have tried the silicone knock offs of these attempting to get the same results with something cheaper, they just slid off while I was sleeping because I get hot when I sleep. It was a joke. I ended up returning them. If you're considering trying Frownies, I say go for it! You really have nothing to lose. They are all natural, and actually just help train your muscles to lay flat so your lines eventually diminish. So cool. These things really are amazing.

I am 43 and had (past tense, thanks to Frownies) deep forehead lines. I have been using the forehead patches for 10 consecutive nights and will continue for at least the recommended 30 before moving into "maintenance mode" of a few nights a week, but decided to post a review early because I've already seen an enormous difference. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews, but perhaps it's because there's a bit of a learning curve to the application process, and these are also not a quick fix, nor do they promise to be (I'm sure if I stopped using them cold turkey, the lines would come back). I highly suggest following Frownies on Instagram, watching their application videos, and messaging with any questions-- the woman who runs the account, Helen (whose great-great-grandmother invented Frownies) is super helpful. When used consistently and correctly, this product absolutely works and took years off my face-- photos attached. One thing I've learned from following the Frownies account is that forehead lines are typically due to more to flexing/tension than true aging; this explains why I felt like my forehead looked so much "older" than the rest of my face. I was likely scrunching it up a lot at night. The goal of using Frownies is to essentially retrain those muscles to lay flat; the patches create a "cast" for your forehead and keep it still. I do feel that my forehead is "calmer" somehow; I'm more aware of my facial expressions during the day, and I also experience fewer headaches. I didn't want to get Botox and was desperate for an alternative... not sure what took me so long to find and order Frownies, but I will be a lifetime customer!

These are *amazing* for side sleepers who wake up with train tracks running up from the bridge of their nose. (The dreaded 11’s, made horridly worse by side sleeping.) The difference was plainly visible after one use—the train tracks simply cannot squish into place whilst sleeping on my side with my Frownie on. Period. If I forget to put my Frownie on, it is *extremely* noticeable the next morning. For this specific purpose, side sleepers and their wretched, pillow-amplified 11’s…Frownies are an incredible product! The glue smell some folks mention is a non-issue for me. Smells mildly like school paste when applying the patch (you know the old Elmer’s paste you used in elementary school?) and the smell totally vanishes once dry…it’s a literally few minutes to dry, seriously. I can use skin products too when applying the patches, like moisturizer or magic wrinkle removal gels…patches still adhere fine. I have insanely sensitive skin, and am allergic to all kinds of adhesives…like every single lash glue on the market—Frownies don’t leave a mark on me. Side note: I was absolutely gobsmacked to read some reviews of this product and realize people aren’t soaking these with a wet cotton pad before removing them (redness, swelling, and ripping hairs out whilst removing? Come on people. Read the directions!) I am a huge fan of this product and consider that Frownies fall under the “simple but brilliant fix” category for me!

Love love love these! I ordered these frownies back in January to try out and it wasn’t in my package with the other order I bought it would’ve been packed with. I did the auto customer service and was able to have them sent to me. I read the reviews and decided it was worth the inconvenience to try the product rather than have a refund and I’m SO glad I did. I have DEEP, embarrassing, and angry-looking wrinkles between my eyebrows when I wake up in the morning. Used them one night and could see an instant difference. It takes half a day for the wrinkles to fully relax and almost flatten the way I woke up. I see a noticeable difference in my face now! It’s been almost two months and I’m definitely ordering again because I’m done with the box! When I get into a better habit of remembering to put them on I’m probably going to be ordering these like crazy! If it doesn’t stick right the first time definitely try again before making a quick judgement. I went through one or two to learn the best way to get them to stick.
