Although there is no instructions with this kit it is pretty much self explanatory if you have basic mechanical abilities. The steering ram fits in place of the stock steering cable. Routing the hoses was the toughest part of the job. You will want a helper to bleed the air from the fitti gs on the steering ram. The seller was VERY helpful and responsive when i messaged about some questions I had reguarding the addition of an autopilot. You will need a steering wheel to complete this conversion, as the helm has a tapered 3/4 shaft as most of the newer boats use. The components in the kit all seem to have good fit. The machining is good quality.

Product is great. Instructions are garbage. Customer service was superb. Eric was very responsive and was quick to ship a replacement for a defective product. Once replaced the steering system is great. Made for an easy and quick upgrade from cable steering on a 17’ mako proskiff.
