This is a premium toothpaste with a premium price. This is the almost perfect toothpaste - the dangerous/risky ingredients ((found in most toothpastes) have been replaced with good safe ingredients. The flavor is almost too yummy - you could be tempted to eat it. Included is a metal ”key/crank“ which helps roll the tube, minimizing waste. It’s a bit more abrasive than average but it’s still within safe limits. Cap has a safe built in puncture point for easy opening. For what it’s worth, the packaging and product design of all their products looks and feels, to me, the best. There’s been a lot of thought and many considerations put into these products. For us, all of the above is worth the higher price.

I was skeptical reading some of the other reviews saying how clean people's teeth felt after brushing with this stuff, BUT IT'S TRUE! So, because dentists need to stay in business, one will surely not tell you about these types of healing, effective toothpastes without flouride. I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on dental repairs (horrible, scarring experiences that have resulted in visiting the dentist as my #1 phobia) and never once has a dentist recommended a paste containing hydroxyapatite. I have been trying to heal a visible cavity in one of my rear molars for a few months now and can actively see it getting smaller doing my home remedies of oil pulling and doing light scrubs with baking soda and clove or oregano oil. After that first regimen, I finish up by brushing with this. This toothpaste makes my teeth feel incredible, very smooth and glossy just like after getting a cleaning from a hygenist. My husband loves it too. We were looking for alternatives to the big names in toothpastes because oddly, we can no longer stand the crazy over-the-top burning pepperminty flavors or the rabid dog foaming-at-the-mouth suds that become gag inducing. I have a very sensitive mouth, teeth and gums. After becoming increasingly concerned about the potential neurological consequences of fluoridated toothpaste, I decided to look for a flouride-free toothpaste. I tried 3 brands. David’s toothpaste is by far superior and an absolute pleasure because it is so gentile and comfortable while at the same my teeth feel immaculately smooth, shiny and my mouth scrubbed clean and utterly detoxified. (Some other health brand options I tried didn’t feel like it was getting my teeth clean enough.) Not only did this toothpaste make my teeth less sensitive but I am satisfied with its potency and power to fastidiously scrub my teeth while fully freshening my mouth without burning the mucosa like the big brand conventional harsh chemical mint toothpaste. I also have a couple of veneers & this toothpaste is smooth; It gently polished the restorations without abrasion. The entire experience of using this toothpaste is delightful, the packaging awesome, the lid is substantial so it doesn’t get lost, & the tube roller twist included let’s me squeeze every drop out of the tube so there is no waste is also excellent. I not only converted to this great toothpaste but would actually give this toothpaste as a fun gift for friends & family members just because it’s that impressive! It’s the little things in life! Well, I've used baking soda, some tooth powders, and a few different non-fluoride toothpastes, but only a few of those don't make my dental problems worse. This is one of them and it's also my favorite. It's priced well, tastes great, I like the ingredients, and it actually does whiten (gradually). It's also the first one my children don't hate. Unlike so many other products I've tried (apart from baking soda), my mouth feels clean until the next time I eat. That's important to me.
