I researched the life out of RC cars/trucks before I bought this brand for my boys (10 and 12 at the time). I didn't want to spend the money on the best of the best for their first experience. After having these almost a year, I will say they are still a favorite toy. The boys set up obstacle courses to run the trucks and have a blast! The reason why this is an excellent purchase isn't the vehicle itself, it's the company! If you go onto the Laegendary website, they have how-to videos on replacing parts and all the parts one would need to keep their vehicle working properly. My son noticed a problem with his truck (after 10 months of lots of use), we went onto the website together and he is learning the names of the parts, what is mostly likely causing the problem and now has videos to follow along with. We easily ordered the parts and are on our way to full throttle with the truck again! This is what a toy company should do! Parts, videos, and support online or by phone if you need it! Love this! Highly recommend Laegendary and their RC products!

This year he turned 9 and I thought to surprise him with a 1:16 brushless monster truck. And boy was he surprised – and I as well, for that matter. This car exceeded my expectations – it came ready to run out of the box, with two batteries and two sets of tires. The playtime with two batteries is over 35 minutes which is quite unheard of from the research I have done. I don’t have a speedometer but I believe this car goes over 40 miles/h. We took it to the track field this past weekend and good thing that I also bought the balance charger from Laegendary – which charges the batteries in about 10 minutes – because my son didn’t want to stop playing. I am ordering one for myself since I don’t get a lot of play time with this one J.
